I’ve been on the Redmond campus for 14 years and a Microsoft employee for 8 years. I have worked in the real-time communication/collaboration space for more than 10 years, beginning on the Exchange Conferencing Server 2000 Test team. During that time, I built a lot of complex AD topologies and tested various aspects of Live Communications Server 2003, Office Communications Server 2005 and Office Communications Server 2007. I was the first tester on my team to bring up an expanded topology. But my passion is customers and the engineers and account teams that support them, so I made the jump into a “customer-facing” Program Manager role more than two years ago. During Wave-12, I acted as TAP Technical Sponsor for Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Hewlett-Packard and engaged Citigroup and Intel, helping to assist the world’s largest chip-maker to deploy the largest OCS environment in the world. Since Wave-12 TAP has ended, I’m continuing my career as PM on the Unified Communications – Real-Time Collaboration Enterprise Engagement team working with account teams and customers with the UC-RTC Customer Experience Team.
